Edurealm ID Terms of Service

Effective date: 25 May 2026 · Last updated: 25 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("TOS" or "Terms") govern access to and use of Edurealm ID, the account, identity, and single sign-on ("SSO") service made available at id.edurealm.net, including all related features, interfaces, and programming interfaces (collectively, "Edurealm ID" or the "Service"). Edurealm ID is a service of Edurealm, a company organized under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt ("Edurealm", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Edurealm ID is a service of Edurealm and not a separate legal entity.

By creating an Edurealm ID account, verifying your email, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not register for or use the Service.

Edurealm ID lets you create a single account and use it to sign in securely to Edurealm's own services and products that accept Edurealm ID. These Terms incorporate by reference the Edurealm ID Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") and the Edurealm ID Privacy Policy.

Edurealm ID is a new service that is still under active development. It is provided free of charge and on an evolving, "as is" and "as available" basis as described in Sections 12, 17, and 18. Please read those Sections carefully, as they limit our liability to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

1. Acceptance & Scope

By registering for, verifying, or using Edurealm ID, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, the AUP, and the Privacy Policy. If you are registering or accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor for whom you are the parent or legal guardian (or as a school or educator acting with lawful authority over the minor), you accept these Terms on the minor's behalf and you are responsible for the minor's use of the Service, as described in Section 4.

These Terms apply to all access to and use of Edurealm ID, which is provided free of charge, and across all interfaces through which the Service is made available.

2. Definitions

  • Edurealm ID / Service, the account, identity, and single sign-on service operated by the Company at id.edurealm.net, through which a User registers an account and uses it to authenticate to Edurealm Services.
  • Account, the Edurealm ID account a User creates, identified by a verified email address and associated credentials.
  • Edurealm Service(s) or Connected Service(s), the Company's own applications, products, and services that accept Edurealm ID as a means of sign-in.
  • OpenID Connect or OIDC, the open authentication and identity protocol used by Edurealm ID to allow a User to sign in to Edurealm Services.
  • Credentials, the email address, password, one-time codes, multi-factor authentication tokens, and any other authentication factors associated with an Account.
  • Verified Account, an Account whose email address has been confirmed through the Company's verification process. Unverified Account, an Account whose email address has not yet been confirmed.
  • User / you, the natural person who registers for or uses an Edurealm ID Account.
  • Parent or Guardian, the parent, legal guardian, or other person or institution with lawful authority to consent on behalf of a minor.
  • AUP, the Edurealm ID Acceptable Use Policy. Privacy Policy, the Edurealm ID Privacy Policy.

3. The Edurealm ID Service

What Edurealm ID is. Edurealm ID is an identity service that lets you create one account and use it, through OpenID Connect, to sign in to Edurealm Services without maintaining separate credentials for each. Anyone who meets the eligibility requirements in Section 4 may register, subject to email verification (Section 5).

First-party use only. Edurealm ID is currently provided solely to enable sign-in to the Company's own Edurealm Services. It is not offered as a login or identity provider to third-party or external applications operated by anyone other than the Company. The Company may change the scope of the Service in the future, in which case these Terms (or supplemental terms) will be updated accordingly.

No charge. Edurealm ID is provided free of charge. The Company does not guarantee that it will remain free, and may introduce, change, or withdraw features at any time as described in Sections 12 and 13.

4. Eligibility & Minors

Minimum age. You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to register for an Edurealm ID Account. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, children under 13. If we become aware that an Account has been created by a person under 13, we may suspend or delete that Account.

Adults. If you are 18 years of age or older, by accepting these Terms you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into them under applicable law.

Minors (13 to 17). If you are at least 13 but under 18 years of age, you are a minor and may register for and use Edurealm ID only (i) with the consent of, and under the supervision of, your Parent or Guardian, or (ii) where a school or educator with lawful authority directs and supervises your registration and use. In each case, the Parent or Guardian (or the school or educator) accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf, consents to the processing of the minor's personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, and is responsible for supervising the minor's use of the Service.

School use. Where a school, educational institution, or educator invites or directs students to create an Edurealm ID, that institution is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consents required by applicable law before students register, and for ensuring that each student's use complies with these Terms and the AUP.

Parental responsibility. A Parent or Guardian who consents to a minor's use of Edurealm ID is responsible for the minor's activity on the Service and for any access the minor obtains, through Edurealm ID, to Edurealm Services.

5. Registration & Email Verification

Accurate information. To register, you must provide a valid email address that you own or are authorized to use, together with any other information requested, and you must keep that information accurate and current.

Email verification is required. After registration, we send a verification message to the email address you provide. You must confirm control of that email address by following the verification link or entering the verification code we send. Until your email is verified, your Account is an Unverified Account and may have limited or no functionality, including no ability to sign in to Edurealm Services.

One identity. You should register only for yourself (or, where permitted, for a minor in your care) and should not create Accounts using an email address you do not control, or create Accounts in bulk or by automated means. The Company may refuse, limit, or revoke any registration at its discretion, including where it suspects abuse, fraud, or a violation of the AUP.

6. Unverified Accounts & Automatic Deletion

Seven-day deletion. If the email address associated with an Account is not verified within seven (7) days of registration, the Account and any data associated with it may be automatically and permanently deleted, without further notice and without any obligation on the Company to retain, back up, or recover it.

You accept this. You acknowledge and agree that automatic deletion of Unverified Accounts is an inherent and intended feature of the Service, designed to protect the Service against abuse and to minimize the personal data we hold. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall have no liability to you or to any other person for the deletion of an Unverified Account or for any loss, inability to access Edurealm Services, or other consequence resulting from such deletion.

Changes to the window. The Company may change the length of the verification window, the verification method, or the treatment of Unverified Accounts at any time. Deletion may be irreversible.

7. Your Account & Security

Confidentiality of credentials. You are responsible for keeping your Credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your Account. You must not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose your Credentials, and you must use any multi-factor authentication the Company makes available where you are able to.

Notify us. You must notify the Company promptly of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your Account or any other breach of security. The Company is not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your Account that results from your failure to safeguard your Credentials.

Accuracy. You must keep your Account information, including your email address, accurate and up to date so that we can deliver security and service messages to you.

8. Accessing Edurealm Services

Sign-in. A Verified Account allows you to sign in, through OpenID Connect, to Edurealm Services that accept Edurealm ID. When you sign in to an Edurealm Service using Edurealm ID, the Service shares a limited set of identity attributes (such as your unique account identifier, email address, and email-verification status) with that Edurealm Service so that it can authenticate and identify you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Each service has its own terms. Your use of any Edurealm Service is governed by that service's own terms and policies, which are separate from these Terms. These Terms govern only your Edurealm ID Account and the sign-on service itself.

No guarantee of access. The Company does not guarantee that any particular Edurealm Service will accept Edurealm ID, will remain available, or will continue to be offered. Availability of, and your eligibility for, any Edurealm Service is determined by that service.

9. Communications & Email

Service messages. We send messages that are necessary to operate Edurealm ID, including email-verification messages, security alerts, sign-in notifications, account notices, and notices about changes to these Terms or related policies. These are service communications and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an Account.

Optional and marketing messages. We may also use the email address associated with your Account to send you news, updates, tips, and marketing communications about Edurealm and its services. You can opt out of these optional communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or through your Account settings, where available. Opting out of optional communications does not stop service messages.

We do not sell or share your email. We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. Any marketing you receive in relation to Edurealm ID comes from Edurealm itself. Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

No marketing to minors. We do not direct marketing communications to Users we know to be under 18 years of age. Where an Account is identified as belonging to a minor, optional marketing is not sent.

10. Acceptable Use

Use of Edurealm ID is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Service you agree to comply with the AUP. Violation of the AUP may result in suspension, termination, or deletion of your Account as described in Section 14.

11. Privacy

The Company's processing of personal data in connection with Edurealm ID is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Because you register for Edurealm ID directly with the Company, Edurealm acts as the controller (or equivalent role under applicable law) of the personal data processed to operate your Account, as further described in the Privacy Policy.

12. New & Evolving Service

Edurealm ID is a new service that is still under active development. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • the Service is provided on an evolving basis and may contain incomplete features, experimental changes, and known or unknown defects;
  • the Company may, at any time and in its sole discretion, modify, add, limit, suspend, or remove features of the Service, change underlying technologies or providers, or change how the Service operates, with or without notice;
  • the Service is not guaranteed to be reliable, continuously available, secure, or error-free, and you should not rely on it as your sole means of access to anything important to you; and
  • the Company may discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, or stop offering it free of charge, at any time as described in Section 13.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall have no liability arising from the evolving or pre-release nature of the Service.

13. Availability, Changes & Discontinuation

The Company will make reasonable efforts to keep Edurealm ID available but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation. The Company may perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, and may modify, add, or remove features at any time.

The Company may discontinue Edurealm ID, in whole or in part, or cease to offer it free of charge. Where reasonably practicable, the Company will provide advance notice of a planned discontinuation of the Service to the email address associated with your Account. The Company is under no obligation to retain, export, or migrate your Account or data upon discontinuation, except as required by applicable law or as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension, Termination & Deletion

By the Company. The Company may suspend, terminate, or delete your Account or restrict your access to Edurealm ID, in whole or in part, at any time. This includes, without limitation, where (i) you materially breach these Terms or the AUP; (ii) your continued use creates a security, legal, or safety risk; (iii) it is required by law or by a competent authority; (iv) your Account remains an Unverified Account beyond the window in Section 6; (v) your Account remains inactive for an extended period; or (vi) the Company discontinues the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or delete any Account at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice to you and without providing any reason. The Company may, but is not obligated to, provide notice where reasonably practicable.

By you. You may stop using Edurealm ID at any time and may request deletion of your Account through the Service or as described in the Privacy Policy.

Effect of termination. Upon termination or deletion of your Account, you will no longer be able to use Edurealm ID or to sign in to Edurealm Services using it. Your data will be deleted or retained as described in the Privacy Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall have no liability for any consequence of suspension, termination, or deletion carried out in accordance with these Terms.

Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and general provisions) will survive.

15. Intellectual Property

Edurealm ID, including all software, designs, interfaces, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (including "Edurealm" and "Edurealm ID"), and other materials provided by the Company, is and remains the property of the Company and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. No right or license is granted to you except the limited right to access and use Edurealm ID in accordance with these Terms.

You may not (i) copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Service or its components; (ii) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; (iii) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or (iv) use the Service to build a competing product or service.

Feedback. If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding Edurealm ID, you grant the Company a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without any obligation to you.

16. Third-Party Services

To operate Edurealm ID, the Company relies on third-party service providers (including hosting and infrastructure providers, email-delivery providers, and security and anti-abuse providers). Such third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. The Company is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content, except as expressly stated in these Terms or the Privacy Policy.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edurealm ID and all of its features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

Without limiting the foregoing, and given that Edurealm ID is a new and evolving service provided free of charge, the Company does not warrant that the Service will be available when needed, that it will be free of defects or vulnerabilities, that Accounts or data will not be lost or deleted (including as described in Section 6), or that sign-in to any Edurealm Service will succeed or remain available.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or licensors be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, Edurealm ID, including any loss of access to Edurealm Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and because Edurealm ID is provided free of charge, the aggregate liability of the Company arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Edurealm ID shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

19. Changes to these Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email and/or by an in-product or on-site notice, with reasonable advance notice before they take effect, except where immediate changes are required for legal, security, or safety reasons. Non-material changes (including clarifications and typographical fixes) may take effect upon publication. Continued use of Edurealm ID after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The parties irrevocably agree that the competent courts of Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, without prejudice to the Company's right to bring proceedings in any other jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or to enforce any judgment.

21. General Provisions

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the AUP and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company relating to Edurealm ID and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to it.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced by an enforceable provision that achieves, as nearly as possible, the original intent.

No waiver: The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without the Company's prior written consent. The Company may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.

Force majeure: The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, labor disputes, telecommunications or internet failures, cyber-attacks, or pandemics.

Notices: Notices to the Company shall be sent through the contact form in Section 22. Notices to you shall be delivered by email to the address associated with your Account or by in-product or on-site notice.

Language: These Terms are made available in English and Arabic. Both versions are intended to convey the same meaning; in the event of a material discrepancy, the parties shall interpret the Terms by reference to both versions in good faith. Where these Terms are filed, notarized, or relied upon before any Egyptian authority or court, the Arabic version shall prevail to the extent required by Egyptian law.
