Edurealm ID Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 25 May 2026 · Last updated: 25 May 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") describes the rules for registering for and using Edurealm ID, the account, identity, and single sign-on service made available at id.edurealm.net (together, "Edurealm ID" or the "Service"). Edurealm ID is a service of Edurealm, a company organized under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt ("Edurealm", "Company", "we", "us").

This AUP applies to every User of Edurealm ID. Because anyone who meets the eligibility requirements may register, these rules are important to keep the Service safe and trustworthy. Violations may result in throttling, suspension, termination, or deletion of your account, in addition to any remedies available to the Company under the Edurealm ID Terms of Service or applicable law.

This AUP incorporates by reference the Edurealm ID Terms of Service and the Edurealm ID Privacy Policy.

1. Scope & Acceptance

By registering for or using Edurealm ID, you agree to this AUP. The Company may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of Edurealm ID following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP; the Company will notify Users of material changes by email or by an in-product or on-site notice.

This AUP applies to all access to and use of Edurealm ID across all interfaces through which the Service is made available.

2. Definitions

Terms used in this AUP have the meanings given to them in the Edurealm ID Terms of Service. In addition:

  • Account, the Edurealm ID account a User creates, identified by a verified email address and associated Credentials.
  • Credentials, the email address, password, one-time codes, multi-factor authentication tokens, and any other authentication factors associated with an Account.
  • Edurealm Service, the Company's own application, product, or service that accepts Edurealm ID as a means of sign-in.

3. Registration & Identity Integrity

Because Edurealm ID is an identity service, the integrity of registration matters. You must not:

  • register an Account using an email address you do not own or are not authorized to use;
  • impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with a person or entity (including the Company);
  • register on behalf of another person without their authority, except where you are a Parent or Guardian (or a school or educator with lawful authority) registering for a minor in your care;
  • create Accounts using false, synthetic, or stolen identity information;
  • create or operate multiple Accounts in order to abuse the Service, evade limits or enforcement actions, or distort the Service; or
  • provide inaccurate registration information or fail to keep it up to date.

4. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You must not use Edurealm ID, or any Account, to:

  • engage in or facilitate any unlawful activity, or any activity that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • send, facilitate, or enable spam, phishing, or other deceptive or fraudulent communications;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or endanger or exploit a minor;
  • distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or facilitate its distribution; or
  • violate any applicable law of the Arab Republic of Egypt or of any other jurisdiction from which you access the Service.

5. Security & Integrity

You must not, and must not attempt to:

  • gain unauthorized access to any Account, to any Edurealm Service, or to any part of the Service's systems or infrastructure;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Edurealm ID, or breach or circumvent any authentication, security, rate-limiting, or anti-abuse measure, except under a written security-testing arrangement with the Company;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity, availability, or performance of Edurealm ID, including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or excessive requests;
  • share, sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose your Credentials, or use another User's Credentials; each User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their own Credentials;
  • conduct credential-stuffing, brute-force, or other automated attacks against the Service or against Accounts;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or any component of it, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law that may not be waived by contract; or
  • use Edurealm ID to develop, train, or evaluate any product or service that competes with it.

The Company may apply automated and manual protections (including rate-limiting, throttling, IP-based protections, bot detection, and account holds) to maintain the integrity and availability of the Service.

6. Automated Access, Bots & Rate Limits

You must not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to register Accounts in bulk, to attempt sign-ins at scale, or to scrape or harvest data from the Service, except through interfaces the Company expressly provides for that purpose and only within the limits the Company sets.

The Company applies fair-use rate-limits and anti-automation controls to protect the Service. The Company may throttle, queue, challenge (for example, with a verification step), or temporarily block requests that exceed these limits or that appear automated or abusive.

7. Use With Edurealm Services

You must use Edurealm ID to sign in only to Edurealm Services that you are authorized to use, and in accordance with each Edurealm Service's own terms and policies. You must not use Edurealm ID to attempt to access an Edurealm Service, or any data within it, that you are not authorized to access, or to circumvent the access controls of any Edurealm Service.

8. Email Verification & Anti-Abuse

Edurealm ID requires email verification (Terms of Service, Section 5) and automatically deletes Unverified Accounts after seven (7) days (Terms of Service, Section 6). You must not attempt to defeat these anti-abuse measures, including by:

  • using disposable, temporary, or fraudulently obtained email addresses to mass-register Accounts;
  • re-registering in order to evade a suspension, termination, or other enforcement action; or
  • otherwise circumventing the Company's verification, rate-limiting, or anti-abuse controls.

9. Consequences of Violation

If the Company reasonably believes that a User has violated this AUP, the Company may take one or more of the following actions, with notice where practicable:

  • require the User to remediate the violation;
  • throttle, queue, challenge, or temporarily restrict access to the Service or specific features;
  • suspend, terminate, or delete the User's Account;
  • revoke the ability to sign in to Edurealm Services using Edurealm ID; or
  • cooperate with law-enforcement or other competent authorities to the extent required by applicable law.

For serious violations (including but not limited to attempts to compromise the Service, attacks against Accounts, distribution of malware, or conduct that endangers a minor), the Company may act immediately and without prior notice. These remedies are in addition to any other rights the Company has under the Edurealm ID Terms of Service or applicable law.

10. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, or of a security vulnerability, suspected account compromise, or other abuse of Edurealm ID, please report it through the Company's website contact form. Reports involving the safety of a minor or imminent risk to a person should be raised immediately to the competent authorities in addition to the Company.

11. Changes to this AUP

The Company may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, in our practices, or in applicable law. Where changes are material, we will update the "Effective date" above and notify Users by email or by an in-product or on-site notice.
